Summary (সারাংশ
One should not try to do what one can not be. If one tries to do what one can't be, one's downfall is sure to occur. In the story 'The Frog and the Ox' the frog thought himself to be the biggest creature in the small pond. Once he saw an ox drinking water in the pond. He was amazed to see the ox but he refused to be impressed. He wanted to be as big as the ox. So, he blew himself up until he burst. Consequently, he had to face his ruin. (যা হতে পারব না তা করার চেষ্টা করা উচিত নয়। যা হতে পারব না তা করার চেষ্টা করলে পতন নিশ্চিত। ‘ব্যাঙ ও ষাঁড় গল্পে ব্যাঙ ছোট্ট পুকুরে নিজেকে সবচেয়ে বড়ো প্ৰাণী বলে মনে করতো । একদিন সে পুকুরে পানি পানরত একটি ষাঁড়কে দেখলো। সে ষাঁড়কে দেখে খুব অবাক হলো তবে সে মুগ্ধ না হওয়ার ভান করল, সে ষাঁড়ের মতো বড়ো হতে চাইলো । তাই সে না ফেটে যাওয়া পর্যন্ত নিজেকে ফুঁ দিয়ে ফুলালো। ফলে সে তার শেষ পরিণতির সম্মুখীন হলো।)
