Summary (সারাংশ)
In this story, the author explains that everyone in the world carries around an invisible bucket. The purpose of the bucket is to hold your good thoughts and good feelings of yourself. When your bucket is full, you are happy. But when your bucket is empty, you are not happy. You have to fill each others buckets by saying or doing something kind, even giving someone smile. But there are also people who are bucket dippers; these people do or say mean things to people and takes from their buckets. This story shows that kindness is important. (এই গল্পের লেখক বর্ণনা করেন যে এই পৃথিবীতে বিচরণকারী প্রতিটি মানুষ একটা অদৃশ্য বালতি বহন করে চলেছে। তোমার ভালো অনুভূতি ও ভালো চিন্তাভাবনা বহন করাই এই বালতির উদ্দেশ্য । যখন তোমার বালতি পূর্ণ থাকে, তুমি সুখী হও। কিন্তু তোমার বালতি শূন্য হলে তুমি অসুখী হও। তোমাদের একে অন্যের প্রতি সদয় হয়ে, এমনকি একে অন্যের সাথে হেসে কথা বলে, একে অন্যের বালতি পূর্ণ করতে হয়। কিন্তু পৃথিবীতে বালতি শূন্যকারী মানুষও আছে; এ মানুষগুলো বাজে কাজ করে ও খারাপ কথা বলে এবং অন্যের বালতি শূন্য করে। এই গল্পটি আমাদের শিক্ষা দেয় যে দয়া খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ।
